i'm making a dietary change

hey guys. i thought i would write about a decision that i've made. i've decided that i wanna start eating or cooking primarily vegetarian or vegan when i'm at home. i've been wanting to incorporate part of that lifestyle into my life and become more aware of what i am eating. and i think it is a good start.
i know for a fact that i feel better when i eat plant-based. i don't feel as gross and bloated and i get full a lot faster. i'm not hungry all the time. i don't feel the need to over eat. and i always just feel way better about myself in general when i eat that way. it feels like self-care to eat that way. so when i'm at home, i am going to eat mainly vegan or vegetarian. and i don't want to eat a whole serving of meat at home either. i'm fine with a bite or tasting something every now and then because everything is fine in moderation.
as for eating out, i still will probably eat meat every now and then. but i want to cut it out for the majority. it's easy to shift most of my eating out options to being vegetarian. but again, moderation. i want to have dairy in moderation too when i'm at home. i'm still trying to figure out what i want to do. all i know is that i want to do better and i want to start cutting out more meat and dairy and other stuff that i know make my body feel kind of gross.
i'm excited to do this because cooking vegan and vegetarian makes me enjoy cooking way more. i don't have to wait for meat to cook, i don't have to make sure the meat is all the way cooked, and i don't have to touch and feel meaty ingredients because handling meat is gross to me and i hate it and it always makes me want to eat it less.
